| Joseba Arana
Owner and chef at Restaurante La Cuchara
since 1999. Chef at Hostería de Arnuero
from 1995 to 1998. Chef at San Román
de Escalante from 1990 to 1994, awarded
one Michelin star. He was previously the
cook at Hotel Los Tamarises in Getxo and
at Goizeko Kabi in Bilbao.
In the year 2000 he represented the Basque
Country at the National Young Restauranteur
Competition, winning first prize in the
Fish Dish Presentation section.
